Who?
"Erm, so who are you, anyway?"
Who am I? It's always a bit strange to talk about oneself, but, to sum it up, I think the bit o' description up there describes me quite sufficiently. Dreamer, writer, music fiend, film lover, coffee addict, baker, optimistic skeptic. Brief, but it places the basic sketches of my sketchy identity in some clarity.
I do write; I do live on music; I do love film; I can't live without my coffee; I'm only an amateur baker; and I maintain an optimistically skeptical existence. I'll find the best in everything whilst doubting everything; I don't think I have a solid belief system in place -- but, okay, let's be more honest. I'll believe the best about everything but humanity. Humanity, in my world, is beyond flawed, but I like it that way, thanks very much. "Perfect" is not a human quality to be had, if only for the fact that "perfect" is horribly dull.
Yes, I tend to have strong opinions, but I love to test the boundaries of my opinions, which means I'm always changing my mind and trying to wrap it around new thoughts and theories and ideas. I'm stubborn -- both my parents are -- and I lean toward the existentialist spectrum in philosophy, which apparently says a lot and nothing at all.
Studying is fun when academics aren't involved (and let's not go into that subject yet), and I'm trying to see exactly how much Japanese and French I can teach myself. Hopefully, I'll be able to add Russian, Italian, and Latin to my repertoire, but we'll see. (: One day. Soon. Along with guitar, acoustic and electronic -- but, so far, I'm contented to work on my flute and piano. I'd love to be able to sing well, too ...
Apparently, I have a thousand crazy quirks, but I shan't go into those here -- but I will say that it's amazing to have someone in your life who knows all your crazy quirks and, not only accepts them, but also expects them -- and, no, I'm not talking about a fellow. Unfortunately, no boyfriend yet -- or anything remotely related to dating for that matter ... Or is that "fortunately" ...?
Anyway, those are the basic basics. What more does one need to know?
Likes, dislikes, & the like ...

Name: Cecilia Haruki Noh
"A name is the way into someone's mind, just like the eyes are the windows into people's souls. That's why we
protect them, isn't it?"
-- Austen, Built of Cinder (The Fallen Arc)
A name is a gift, isn't it -- it's the first thing a person, character receives at conception, and, sometimes, we come across the need to shield that gift from the world. Pseudonyms are nice things as they allow that private you to remain private while exposing another side of you, and, like all names should, they contain their own meaning, don't they? So, on that note, why "Cecilia Haruki Noh"?
Cecilia.
